Benny Blanco recently showed off what might just be the most talked-about snack on social media: blueberries. But these weren’t just any blueberries. We’re talking about a special batch that set him back a cool $200.
The 37-year-old music producer gave fans a peek into his luxurious fruit experience. He shared a video on TikTok this past Saturday, August 23. In the clip, he held up a box. Inside, 35 blueberries sat perfectly, each one tucked into its own little compartment. “These blueberries I just got sent are the biggest things I’ve ever seen,” Blanco said, clearly amazed. He picked one up, calling it “insane.”
Blanco brought a single berry closer to the camera, then bit into it. “Alright, I’m gonna try it,” he announced, before exclaiming, “Oh my God. It’s like a damn meal.”

“Can you even see the size of this?” he asked, comparing the giant berry to his hand. “They’re huge. They’re delicious. I think the boxes are like $200.” Blanco kept popping the fancy fruit into his mouth. He then added with a laugh, “I hope these don’t have poison or something.” He captioned his post simply: “Expensive blueberries.”
As expected, the comments section of his TikTok blew up with reactions to the hefty price tag. One user joked, “Sir, we are not rich enough to understand this.” Another added, “I can’t even afford the standard pack of blueberries right now… this is crazy.” However, some fans jumped to Blanco’s defense. “Everyone hates him ’cause he’s rich and can buy $200 blueberries,” one person wrote. They continued, “Be as talented as him. He earned his success and his money.”
A Couple Who Snacks Together, Stays Together
Blanco and his fiancée, Selena Gomez, have often shared their unique take on food with their fans lately. Back in February, Blanco got super creative for Gomez, 33. He laid out a trail of french fries that led to a sweet “I love you” message spelled out on the bathroom floor. Right next to it was a bathtub filled to the brim with cheese.
Blanco playfully captioned the post, “When your fiancé isn’t really into flowers.” Gomez loved it, responding with, “I love all of this 🥰.”
When it comes to their upcoming wedding, Gomez, who got engaged to Blanco in 2024, already has some interesting ideas for dessert. “When that day comes, I know I don’t want a big cake,” Gomez mentioned in a video shared by her beauty brand, Rare Beauty, on TikTok in July. “I think I would want a mini one just for us, so we can freeze it.” She then shared her ultimate sweet tooth craving. “My preferred dessert would be cookies with gravy. My Nana’s gravy and cookies… that, to me, is a dessert.”
