Ben Stokes extends his contract with Durham until 2024

Durham Cricket announced that England’s all-rounder Ben Stokes has signed a contract extension with the club. The 30-year-old has signed a contract until at least the end of the 2024 season. “I am delighted to be associated with Durham for another three years,” Stokes said in a statement. I have some wonderful memories playing for this club and I hope to gain more experience in the future. “

Stokes made his County Durham debut against Essex in 2010 and has so far scored 3,611 first-class runs in 64 red ball games for the club. His best score is the 185 runs he did against Lancashire.

Cricket Director Marcus North said: “Ben is one of the best players in the world and we would like to see him make a huge impact on the club. It’s wonderful to see Ben fit in again. We are so glad Ben has done more. 3 appearances for Durham. “The year has given consent to play.

Stokes has played 71 test matches for England, scoring 4,631 runs at 37.04 and taking 163 wickets, including his 135 unbeaten against Australia at Headingley.
