Three powerful voices in Latin music recently gathered for a podcast episode that’s got everyone talking. Mexican stars Belinda, Danna Paola, and Kenia Os joined forces for a special pop-up radio event on Apple Music. They shared some truly personal and surprising stories. The biggest news? They publicly announced they are working on new music together.
Danna Paola shared her excitement. “This moment feels incredibly cool,” she said. “We never get a chance to really talk, hang out, and connect. We owe each other a dinner, all of us.” Kenia Os added with a smile, “The rice is cooked, good things are coming.”
The conversation was full of open and honest moments. The three artists didn’t hold back, sharing ten intimate details about their lives and careers.
Navigating Life in the Spotlight
The artists touched on the pressures of their demanding careers. Danna Paola admitted that sometimes she gets so caught up in working, she forgets to enjoy her own success. “I’ve learned to be more present,” she explained. “We often focus too much on the future. We need to enjoy every small detail along the way.”
They also talked about the music industry’s challenges. Danna Paola reflected on her album ‘Indómita,’ which means “untamed.” She stressed that it’s about fighting for your dreams. She pointed out how she and Belinda grew up in an industry often led by men. “What defines each of us is how unique and powerful we are,” Danna Paola said. “Each with our own style. But making our way in an industry led by men… Kenia, you’re in corridos, a male-dominated genre, which is deeply powerful. We are also businesswomen and leaders. There’s a lot of ‘mental noise’ out there, like opinions on how a woman should act or dress. Nobody should tell me how to be a woman, as Belinda’s album says.”
Redefining Beauty and Self-Love
The three women agreed that beauty standards need to change. They believe it’s important to break old ideas about perfect bodies and looks. Danna Paola shared, “Not being perfect is the most beautiful thing.”
Belinda strongly agreed, adding a real-world perspective. “If you want to use filters and wear a lot of makeup, that’s perfectly fine too,” she stated. “You can do whatever you want. It’s your choice, and no one has the right to judge you.”
Belinda then confessed her love for social media filters. The 36-year-old singer said she enjoys using the effects offered on platforms like TikTok. “I’m going to use them until the day I die,” Belinda confessed. “And I won’t judge anyone who uses them. We should just accept it.” She added that the most important thing is to accept yourself. “It’s something you have to work on daily,” she advised. “Your self-esteem and self-love, how you treat yourself and how you talk to yourself. More than chasing perfection, it’s about loving who you are.”

Childhood Dreams and Hollywood Crushes
The conversation took a fun turn when the topic of childhood heroes came up. Kenia Os, who is dating Peso Pluma, shared a funny story about a past birthday. She’s always been a huge fan of Blossom, one of the Powerpuff Girls. However, for her third birthday party, her mom got the theme wrong. “My mom got confused,” she recalled, “and I have all these photos dressed as Buttercup. I didn’t like it!”
Danna Paola also spoke about the Powerpuff Girls. She confessed that her favorite was Buttercup. She connects with the character’s tough and sarcastic personality. “She reminds me of my ‘dark’ phase,” Danna Paola commented. “To be honest, I still have a lot of that dark Danna in me.”
It seems many teen girls shared a similar crush: Nick Jonas. All three artists agreed they loved the Jonas Brothers, especially Nick. Kenia Os even admitted she used to beg her parents to take her to their concerts. They described Nick as “very sweet, super cute, and also the nicest one who sang really well.” But they didn’t forget Joe Jonas, saying he had the “hottest body.”
Belinda shared her preference in partners, straying from the “bad boy” image. She prefers “nerds.” “I like someone super intelligent and tech-savvy,” Belinda stated. “Like the typical nerds, because I don’t like a ‘Johnny Bravo’ type.” She referenced the muscular, blonde cartoon character known for trying to charm all women.

In another personal revelation, Belinda declared her deep love for Batman. When asked which actor played her favorite, she said “all of them.” She specifically mentioned Tim Burton, who directed the Batman films starring Michael Keaton and Val Kilmer. “I love the character itself,” she added. “More than Superman or Spiderman, I’m ‘Team Batman’.”
Kenia Os’s fandom leans towards more whimsical heroes. Danna Paola shared that while she enjoys ‘Avengers’ movies, she actually prefers the ‘Barbie Fairytopia’ saga. This comment excited Kenia Os. “Yes, I love them,” the young singer exclaimed, adding that ‘Tinkerbell’ is “the best.” Belinda, however, admitted she hadn’t seen any of those films. She sees herself as more “dark.” She even said she identifies more with Ursula, the villain from 101 Dalmatians.
Danna Paola ended this part of the discussion with a thought that Belinda loved. They agreed they often prefer villains because they seem “more honest.” Princesses, despite being the main characters, aren’t always the fierce, independent women these artists strive to be.
