New England limited overs captain Jos Buttler has said he is currently focusing on cue-ball cricket. Butler was recently named captain of the England whiteball team after captain Eoin Morgan left international cricket. Many former cricketers have considered including Butler as a test starter in the side managed by Ben Stokes.
Butler had a great performance for Rajasthan Royals in the IPL 2022 season. Also, he did well in the ODI series against the Netherlands. He was quoted by the Daily Mail as saying that Stokes is doing well in the match.
Butler was quoted as saying in the report, “I’m focused on the cue ball game and I’m very excited about the challenge ahead.” Under the leadership of Eoin Morgan, England won the 50+ series in 2019 by defeating New Zealand.
