Before the game against Punjab, Anil Kumble gave special advice to SRH and told him where improvement is needed.

The 16th season of Sunrisers Hyderabad has not happened anything special so far. The team had to deal badly with defeat in its first two games. Now the Hyderabad team will play their third match against Punjab Kings today and go for the first win. Ahead of this match, former Indian veteran cricketer Anil Kumble gave some special advice to Sunrisers Hyderabad.

Former Indian cricketer Anil Kumble said that Sunrisers Hyderabad’s batting has been very poor so far, thus the team has to face continuous defeats. Also, he has not used Adil Rashid correctly.

Ahead of Hyderabad’s match against Punjab, Anil Kumble said, “Not a good start. I have them in my top 4. They are a good team and have a good batting lineup but they haven’t been able to get going.” Their batting he has let him down in both games. He couldn’t score many runs even at home against Rajasthan Royals.”

The former Indian legend further said: “Playing against Rajasthan, they couldn’t bring in Rashid early against Jos Buttler, while he doesn’t like to play spinner legs at the start of his innings. Here too Rashid was held up for the first six overs. When only have 121 runs on the board, use the main wheel. He needs to work on some things, but he has to solve his batting problem first.”

Significantly, the continued failure of Harry Brook for Sunrisers Hyderabad is cause for concern. Brook has been bought by the franchise for a whopping Rs 14.25 crore but this England player has failed to show any wonder with the bat in both matches.
