This unique incident of murder took place in Modi Nagar area of ​​Ghaziabad district of Uttar Pradesh last Friday. Vikas, a resident of the area, told the police that his wife was robbed on the National Highway near Hapur yesterday. When the police arrived on the information, they found the mutilated body of a woman named Sonia, Vikas’s wife, at the scene.

The police arrested her husband on the spot on the basis of suspicion and when they checked Vikas’s mobile, they found some evidence against him for his involvement in the murder. According to the police, Vikas asked on the mobile ‘how to kill?’ What was the search? Apart from this, he had also searched on Google regarding the purchase of arms while he had also tried to buy poison from an online store.

SP Deepak Phukar told local TV that after a few years of marriage, Vikas and his wife had a rift over Vikas’s relationship with his girlfriend, which escalated to such an extent that it resulted in his divorce. It turned out to be the murder of Sonia.

Police say that Vikas has been arrested and his girlfriend will be arrested soon.

The government has also announced a reward of 25 thousand Indian rupees for the police team that solves the murder mystery.
