However, the franchise managers must provide the NCA with the fitness updates of the players included in the central contract. According to PTI report, BCCI may initially send those players whose teams fail to qualify for the IPL playoffs to New York. The players who played in the knockout rounds will join the team after the tournament ends.

The Indian team is in Group A

The Indian team has a place in Group A of the 2024 T20 World Cup. In addition to India, this group also includes teams from Ireland, Pakistan, the USA and Canada. The Indian team will play the big match against Pakistan on June 9th. Both Indian and Pakistan teams have won the T20 World Cup trophy once each.
