- Mastercard to Sponsor Domestic and International Matches in India
BCCI Main Sponsor: Global credit, debit and payment card maker MasterCard has become the title sponsor of all international matches and domestic tournaments held in India by the Cricket Board of India (BCCI). Previously, all international matches and domestic tournaments held in India were sponsored by mobile app company UPI Paytm Title, but this has now been replaced by MasterCard. Paytm had discussed the transfer of sponsorship rights with BCCI officials. After this discussion, it was almost believed that a change in title sponsor would soon be seen.
Mastercard will benefit
Mastercard has sponsored all kinds of games around the world. This will be the first time that Mastercard will sponsor a cricket match in India internationally. India is a great market for any type of business. Watching cricket is preferred in almost every household in India. In such a situation, Mastercard has made a good decision by sponsoring BCCI. After this sponsorship, Mastercard will make a good profit. From the BCCI it was said that MasterCard will sponsor all international matches, both men’s and women’s, to be held at home. MasterCard will now be the title sponsor of all junior cricket matches (Under-19 and U-23) held in India, along with domestic cricket matches such as the Irani Trophy, Duleep Trophy and Ranji Trophy organized by the BCCI.
What did Ganguly say about the sponsorship?

The trophy will be there. There will be many tournaments for the junior segment in the 2022-23 season and I am sure it will be a successful partnership with Mastercard.”
