BCCI Recruitment: Team India Women’s Team Invites Applications for Head Physiotherapist and Strength Coach

The Board of Control for Cricket in India has announced job openings for two key positions with the senior women’s national team. The vacancies are for a head physiotherapist and a strength and conditioning coach, both based at the BCCI Centre of Excellence in Bengaluru.

The head physiotherapist will be responsible for overseeing the rehabilitation of injured players, with a focus on helping them recover quickly and effectively. To qualify for this role, candidates must have a postgraduate degree in sports or musculoskeletal physiotherapy, sports and exercise medicine, or sports rehabilitation. They should also have a minimum of 10 years of experience in physiotherapy, preferably working with a team or individual athletes.

Key Responsibilities

The strength and conditioning coach will design and implement training programs to improve player fitness.

  • Creating warm-up schedules and practice sessions before matches
  • Developing programs to enhance player fitness

To be eligible, candidates need at least 7 years of experience, ideally working with a team or athletes.

The BCCI has outlined the necessary qualifications and experience for both positions, ensuring that selected candidates can significantly contribute to the team’s success.
