The Board of Control for Cricket in India has announced job openings for two key positions with the senior women’s national team. The vacancies are for a head physiotherapist and a strength and conditioning coach, both based at the BCCI Centre of Excellence in Bengaluru.
The head physiotherapist will be responsible for overseeing the rehabilitation of injured players, with a focus on helping them recover quickly and effectively. To qualify for this role, candidates must have a postgraduate degree in sports or musculoskeletal physiotherapy, sports and exercise medicine, or sports rehabilitation. They should also have a minimum of 10 years of experience in physiotherapy, preferably working with a team or individual athletes.
Key Responsibilities
The strength and conditioning coach will design and implement training programs to improve player fitness.
- Creating warm-up schedules and practice sessions before matches
- Developing programs to enhance player fitness
To be eligible, candidates need at least 7 years of experience, ideally working with a team or athletes.
