Bayern close to renewing Neuer

The Bayern Munich is very satisfied with the performance of Manuel Neuer under the clubs of the first team and everything seems to indicate that they are about to reach an agreement with him to retain him much longer in their squad. The German international goalkeeper has been a very important piece within the German team practically since he was promoted to the first team and now, at 35 years old, he is still the footballer who supports the team thanks to his saves.

As published ‘Sport 11‘, both parties are about to reach a contract that would link Neuer two more seasons with the Bavarians, that is, until June 30, 2025, since their current relationship is until June 2023. The goalkeeper is fully determined to stay with the Bavarian team for as long as it takes since he has given everything when he wanted during his sports career and, for its part, the club does not want to lose one of the best goalkeepers on the planet.

Difficult situation for your substitute

For several seasons, FC Bayern Munich has been looking for a substitute for guarantees to Manuel Neuer and a couple of seasons ago he signed Alexander Nubel, a fully guaranteed goalkeeper who was promised to have minutes, but the reality is that Neuer continues to be a starter in all matches. This season he had to leave on loan to Monaco and this renewal will only cause problems for him as he will have to endure this situation for two more years.
