In the match against Rajasthan, Tushar Raheja and Narayan Jagadeesan opened the innings for Tamil Nadu, chasing a target of 268 runs. Jagadeesan’s aggressive batting was on full display against Aman Singh Shekhawat, who bowled the second over for Rajasthan. The first ball of the over was a wide delivery that went straight to the boundary. Jagadeesan then played a cut shot on the first legal ball, scoring four runs towards third man. He continued to score fours on the next three balls, playing shots over point and third man. On the fifth ball, Jagadeesan pulled the ball, and on the final ball, he flicked it for four runs.

Narayan Jagadeesan scored an impressive 65 runs in this match, facing 52 balls and hitting 10 fours. His strike rate was an impressive 125. In the ongoing Vijay Hazare Trophy season, Jagadeesan has scored a total of 303 runs in 6 innings, averaging 60.60, with one century and one half-century to his name.
