Important and clear victory for Lenovo Tenerife at home against UCAM Murcia (85-65)in the first day of the second phase of the FIBA Champions League, a result that momentarily places them in first place, waiting for the clash between Surne Bilbao and Turkish Darussafaka to be played this Wednesday.
Hard duel disputed in the Santiago Martín sports hall, very even during the first two quarters, but already from the third, Txus Vidorreta’s team took command of the game and knew how to handle it as they pleased to be able to finish with a wide result against a complicated adversary.
After a very even first quarter with two successful teams in defense and attack, in the second quarter Lenovo Tenerife took the initiative both in the game and on the scoreboard, very successful from the outside and setting the guidelines well on the field against a UCAM Murcia that had to resort to foulss to try to stop the local offensive game.
