Barthélémy Monigard leads the expansion of ankorstore in the market. Its objective is to facilitate B2B relationships between brands and retailers in Spain and empower independent businesses. He has been based in Spain and Portugal for more than 20 years, and with extensive experience in the sales and entrepreneurship sector. Today he has the challenge of setting up and structuring the Ankorstore team in Barcelona, with a forecast of recruit more than 25 people in the coming months.
Professional career of Barthélémy Monigard
Barthélémy Monigard has a degree in Business Administration and Management from the ESADE Business School, in addition to having studied Entrepreneurship, New Businesses and Marketing for a few months at Babson College.

After several experiences in large consumption sectors in Spain, his passion for entrepreneurship led him to join the Verychic founding team, an online travel and luxury hotel booking platform, as director of sales at a very early stage of the company. In eight years, they came to build a success story within the European tourism sector, reaching 120 employees, and a turnover of more than 100 million euros. The company was subsequently acquired by the Accor group in 2017, one of the world’s leading hotel chains. In this stage, Barthélémy led synergy optimization and integration projects with the group.
At Ankorstore, in June 2021, he started as head of global strategic projects, and in January 2022 Barthélémy assumed responsibility for the Spanish market. Together with his team, he has the challenge of making the platform known to reinvent wholesale in the country, growing the network of authentic brands and independent retailers.
