Barcelona Routs FC Seoul 7-3 in Korea; Yamal, Torres Score Brace

When the final whistle blew in South Korea on Thursday, the scoreboard flashed a dominant 7-3 for Barcelona. It looked like a walk in the park. But anyone who watched the second friendly of their Asia Tour knows it was far from simple. Young stars Lamine Yamal and Ferran Torres certainly made their mark, each bagging two goals.

The match kicked off with Barcelona setting a quick pace. Robert Lewandowski wasted no time, finding the net just eight minutes in. Lamine Yamal quickly added to the lead at the 14-minute mark. It looked like the Catalan giants would run away with it. But FC Seoul had other plans. They found gaps in Barcelona’s defense. Cho Young-Wook scored for Seoul at 26 minutes. Then, just before halftime, Al Arab tied things up at 2-2 in the first minute of stoppage time. It was a real shocker. Yet, Yamal wasn’t done for the half. He struck again two minutes later, making it 3-2 for Barcelona right as the whistle blew for the break. What a swing of emotions!

The second half brought fresh faces for both teams. Barcelona came out firing, determined to put the game away. Christensen, a new entry, scored at 55 minutes. Ferran Torres then joined the party with a goal at 74 minutes. Gavi, another player off the bench, scored three minutes later at 77 minutes. Barcelona was suddenly up big. FC Seoul managed to pull one back at 85 minutes through Jung Han-Min. It showed their fighting spirit. But Ferran Torres had the last word. He scored his second goal of the match just three minutes later, at 88 minutes. This goal sealed the huge 7-3 victory for Barcelona.
