Barcelona is set to take on Villarreal this Sunday, but coach Hansi Flick is expected to shake things up.
The team celebrated their LaLiga title win on Friday afternoon and into Saturday, and Flick knows he needs to make some changes to the starting lineup.
“We’ll make some changes. How we’ll do it, I’ll decide tomorrow,” Flick said.
The team had a day off on Friday, and while some players let loose at night, Flick isn’t buying the excuse that they’re too tired to work.
“I want to finish the season the way we started it,” he said.
Flick left the door open to fielding a team made up entirely of La Masia graduates.
“We’ve talked about it, but we haven’t decided yet. It could be an option. We’ll have to wait and see,” he said.
The coach was blown away by the fans’ celebrations.
“It was amazing to see the passion and joy. When we can celebrate like this year after year, that’ll be something special. We’ll keep working hard to make it happen,” Flick said.
