As reported this Monday by Catalunya Ràdio, Barça will try to sign a ‘low cost’ winger in the last 24 hours of the market that can cover the loss of Memphis (Athletic) and the injury of Ousmane Dembélé. This, despite the fact that LaLiga already notified the Barça club last week that it cannot sign due to its poor forecasts of economic fairplay next season.
Barça, however, maintains that, within certain economic conditions, and taking into account that players like Piqué have left the club as well as Memphis (Bellerín could also leave), he could convince LaLiga to sign up this player who would have to come under similar conditions to which, for example, Adama Traoré landed last winter. Adama had a gas effect but, at least, he helped in decisive games like against Atlético at home (4-2) and in Naples (2-4). This yes, the Barcelona club admits that it is difficult.
The Barcelona club has tried for a moment the return of abdewhich was the easiest option to have a winger. The winger renewed until June 2026 in the summer before going on loan to Osasuna for a season. Barça has made the consultation, but Osasuna has refused.
