Banreservas opens ExpoHogar 2023 with rates from 7%

The Banco de Reservas will begin its ExpoHogar 2023 real estate fair this Tuesday, which in this edition offers the public rates from 7%, fixed for four years for low-cost homes, which are those that are below RD$4.8 million pesos.

The other fixed rates available for other types of housing are: 8% for 6 months; 9% for one year; 10% for 5 years, and 12% for 10 years.

The information was released last night by the general administrator of Banreservas, Samuel Pereyra, when announcing financing of up to 90% of the value of the homes and terms of up to 20 years to pay, with fixed rates of up to 10 years.

In the case of commercial premises, the financing may cover up to 80% of the value of the property, with a term of up to 10 years to pay, in addition to having insurance policies to protect the client and the property against fire and alidated lines.

Pereyra reported that during the fair the buyers will have a large inventory of real estate and commercial premises, to be financed and thus fulfill the dream of every Dominican family, which is to have their own roof or a commercial premises, or both.

“In this new version of Expohogar 2023, we have the necessary human and technological resources, and the joint participation of our entire sales force,” he exclaimed before construction businessmen, real estate agents and brokers present at the opening ceremony held in a hotel.

Pereyra added that, in the case of housing, the modality of flexible quotas will be available, which consists of an extraordinary annual payment that will allow the amount of monthly allowances to be reduced.

Expohogar Banreservas will also offer discounts at affiliated businesses and raffles for those who make disbursements during the fair. The distribution of these prizes will be as follows: five white line winners for their new home; winners of the first installment of their loan distributed among four personal clients, three clients who purchase their low-cost home.

Low-cost housing government plans are an initiative of President Luis Abinader, to help thousands of families improve their quality of life by purchasing their own home.

Solar panels

The fair will also have preferential rates for the acquisition of solar panels, and for other conditioning elements of new homes or commercial premises.

The more than 300 Banreservas offices in the Dominican territory, as well as the main real estate and construction companies in the country, will function as fairgrounds for customer service, with the advantage that it will be carried out simultaneously in each province. Financing requests will be immediately evaluated and approved by the Bank’s official representatives.

Customers who qualify for financing can opt for units that are available in projects or residential throughout the country.
