More of 3,500 small and medium companies were benefited with financing that exceeded RD$7,000 million, at a preferential rate and extensive benefits during the Expo Fomenta Pymes 2022 recently held by the Banco de Reservas.
When announcing the results of the fair, the general manager of the financial institution, Samuel Pereyra, explained that with the resources granted, the support that SME clients so much need is providedso that they can meet their current financial commitments.
“SMEs represent one of the main generators of jobs in the country, in addition to helping to boost the economy in all areas of national productivity,” Pereyra stressed.
Among the favored economic sectors are: shops, social services, manufacturing, construction, agriculture, tourism, health and education, among others.
Rates from 7.95%
In this fifth edition Expo Promotes SMEs, which ran from March 1 to April 30, offered special financing conditions, with rates from 7.95%, and fixed-term installments of up to 3 years; and a wide portfolio of offers and special discounts in more than 20 allied businesses.
