Banreservas donates photographic exhibition of Eladio Fernández to the Dominican embassy in Germany

The general administrator of Banreservas, Samuel Pereyra, donated the photographic sample to the Dominican embassy in the Federal Republic of Germany "The Dominican Wealth"by photographer Eladio Fernández, in an activity held as part of the ITB Berlin 2023 tourism fair.

A Banreservas commission headed by Pereyra and his wife Noelia García de Pereyra, president of the Banreservas Volunteers, visited the facilities of the Dominican embassy in Berlin, to deliver the photographic sample, coinciding with the celebration of International Women’s Day.

During the ceremony, Pereyra highlighted the participation of Ambassador Francisco Caraballo and the embassy’s technical staff in the ITB Berlin 2023 tourism fair, which began on Tuesday 7 and closes today, March 9.

"In this tourist fair you can feel the enthusiasm and active participation of the Dominican Republic in the most cheerful and colorful stand of the event, with the Dominican embassy in Germany being an important part of this event, for its attention to the entire Dominican delegation and its willingness to service"Pereyra maintained.

During the visit to the Dominican embassy in Germany, the bank executive announced that numerous meetings had been held with tourism businessmen and hotel chains interested in investing in different Dominican destinations and that talks on financing tourism projects had already advanced. He announced that the figures will be offered at the end of the fair.

When delivering the photographic sample, Samuel Pereyra highlighted that the collection consists of 12 photographs by the prominent lens artist Eladio Fernández and that they show the richness of the flora and fauna of the Dominican Republic.

"This tour of the landscapes of our island will now be in the different spaces of the embassy for the enjoyment of the entire Dominican diaspora that visits the Dominican embassy in Berlin"stressed the general administrator of Banreservas.

The Dominican ambassador to the German Republic, Francisco Caraballo, thanked Pereyra for the donation and reported the embassy’s decision to designate the space at the diplomatic headquarters with the name of Banreservas.

"We feel honored with Mr. Pereyra’s visit to this embassy and we officially communicate that from this moment on we have named our meeting room Banreservas room"expressed Ambassador Caraballo.

The general administrator of Banreservas and his wife Noelia García were accompanied by Ysidro García, deputy business administrator; Deyanira Pappaterra, General Director of Tourism Business and other Banreservas executives.

Volunteering Banreservas donates books

Within the framework of Banreservas’s visit to the Dominican embassy in Germany, the president of the Banreservas Volunteers, Noelia García, presented Ambassador Caraballo with several copies of the children’s book “A Bank of Stories”, published by the Volunteers and a volume of the book “El Arte en la Cabeza”, by Mariano Hernández and Juan Vásquez -Juampa-, recently put into circulation at the Banreservas Cultural Center.

Ambassador Caraballo, when thanking the delivery of the books, assured that they will remain in the Dominican embassy in Germany available to visitors who wish to consult their content.

During the activity, beautiful floral arrangements were distributed to the women present in commemoration of International Women’s Day.
