Bangladesh’s tour of the West Indies has been a rollercoaster ride, with the team drawing the 2-match Test series 1-1, but losing the first two matches of the three-match ODI series. The team has already lost the series. The Bangladesh team will also play a three-match T20 series against the host, with the first match scheduled for December 15 in Kingstown. The Bangladesh Cricket Board has announced the squad for this series, with Liton Das set to captain the team in place of regular captain Nazmul Hossain Shanto, who is still recovering from a groin injury.

Shakib Al Hasan has also not been included in the squad, while Mahmudullah, who had announced his retirement from the format after playing the last match of the T20 series against India, is also not part of the team.
