IND vs BAN: The Indian cricket team suffered a 6-run defeat against Bangladesh in the final Super 4 match of the 2023 Asia Cup. First in this match, Bangladesh team had set a target of 266 runs to Team India. In reply, Team India could only score 259 runs. However, losing this match will not make any difference and Team India has already booked their last match against Sri Lanka on the 17th.
Gill’s century was spoiled

Bangladesh scored 265 runs
Earlier, the Bangladesh team, batting first, scored 265 runs for 8 wickets. Captain Shakib Al Hasan scored the highest 80 runs for Bangladesh. While Tauheed Hridaya scored 54 runs and Nasum Ahmed scored 44 runs. Shardul Thakur took 3 wickets for Team India. While Mohammed Shami took two wickets. Apart from this, Prasidh Krishna, Akshar Patel and Ravindra Jadeja took 1 wicket each.
Face Sri Lanka in the final
However, this match will not have any impact on Team India’s final qualification. Team India has already reached the Asian Cup final. The Indian cricket team had defeated Pakistan by 228 runs in their first Super 4 match. Afterwards, Team India defeated Sri Lanka by 41 runs. Now the Indian team has to face Sri Lanka on the 17th, i.e. on Sunday.
