Bangladesh set a target of 128 runs for Afghanistan to win, Hossain played a brilliant inning

The third match of the 2022 Asia Cup is played between Bangladesh and Afghanistan. Bangladesh won the toss and decided to bat first. The team gave Afghanistan a target of 128 to win. During this, Mossadak Hossain played a brilliant 48-run inning. However, apart from Hussain, none of the batsmen could do anything special. Afghan bowlers Rashid Khan and Mujeeb ur Rahman played dangerously.

Captain Shakib Al Hasan was fired after scoring 11 runs on 9 balls. He hit 2 fours in this inning. Wicketkeeper batsman Mushfiqur Rahim was sacked after scoring only 1 run.

Mossadiq Hossain played a brilliant 48-run inning for the team. He hit 4 fours and a six in 31 balls. Alongside this he also remained undefeated. Afif Hossain was fired after scoring 12 runs on 15 balls. Mehdi Hasan returned to the arena after scoring 14 runs on 12 balls. He also hit two fours.

The bowlers from Afghanistan also showed dangerous form in this match. Mujeeb ur Rahman gave only 16 runs in 4 overs and also took 3 wickets. Rashid Khan took 3 wickets for 22 runs in 4 overs. Fazlhaq Farooqui conceded 25 runs in 4 overs. Captain Mohammad Nabi gave up 23 runs from 3 overs.

Let us tell you that Afghanistan had previously beaten Sri Lanka by 8 wickets in the last match.
