Bajrang Dal opposes ‘Pathan’, Pooja Bhatt tweets difference between riots and protests

Controversy continues regarding Shah Rukh Khan and Deepika Padukone’s upcoming film Pathan. Some people have objections to Deepika’s orange bikini in the song from the movie Besharam Rang. Meanwhile, a video surfaced from Ahmedabad, showing Bajrang Dal workers vandalizing the interior of the mall in protest against the Pathan film. The ANI news agency tweeted a video in which Bajrang Dal workers oppose the promotion of the Pathan film. In reaction to this video, Pooja Bhatt has told the difference between protests and riots. He wrote: ‘Protest: is a public demonstration organized by not agreeing with any law, policy, idea or situation. Riot – Violent/disruptive assembly of persons with a specific objective to disturb the peace in order to create fear among the public.

In the video you can see that some people are vandalizing the interior of the theater with saffron scarves around their necks. Tearing the ‘Pathan’ sign. Along with this, they are raising slogans of Jai Shri Ram. However, during this time some of the mall staff are seen trying to stop them.

The trailer for the Pathan movie, in which Shah Rukh Khan appeared in an action avatar, has been released. Aside from this, glimpses of Deepika Padukone and John Abraham were also seen. The trailer for this film will be released on January 10. Shah Rukh Khan’s ‘Pathan’ is set to hit theaters on 25th January 2023.
