Manama: An Indian restaurant in Bahrain barred a veiled woman from entering, after which the authorities took immediate action and sealed the restaurant, the incident is being investigated and those responsible could be sentenced to 10 years in prison.
According to an international website, a Hindu manager at an Indian restaurant in Bahrain stopped a woman wearing a hijab from entering the house.
The video of the incident is also going viral on social media in which a man is blocking the way of a veiled woman in a restaurant.
The management of the Indian restaurant has posted its message on social networking sites in which they have apologized.

The message states that the manager made a mistake after which he was fired, he does not represent us.
The restaurant has also announced a free meal on March 29 as a goodwill gesture in which no one will be charged.
According to reports, the administration has also canceled the manager’s visa permit.
Bahrain’s Tourism and Exhibition Authority has launched an investigation into the incident. According to Bahraini law, those found guilty of racist acts will be sentenced to 10 years in prison.
Authorities have also warned all tourist destinations in the country against pursuing policies that contradict state laws.
