Bahrain allowed the entry of passengers

News agency Reports According to the report, the government committee that oversees Bahrain’s civil aviation affairs announced on Thursday the lifting of the travel ban imposed on local citizens in the red-list countries.

A Civil Aviation statement said three more countries had been added to the “red list.” Georgia, Ukraine and Malawi had also been added to the red list by Bahrain. The decision to add these countries to the red list was made by the National Medical Testing Force, which has also been ratified by the government.

Countries in the red list

Bahrain has redlisted Bangladesh, the Dominican Republic, Georgia, India, Indonesia, Iran, Iraq, Malaysia, Mexico, Mongolia, Myanmar, Nepal, Pakistan, the Philippines, Sri Lanka and Tunisia.

A statement issued by the Civil Aviation Authority said: “The ban for citizens who have arrived in Bahrain in the last 14 days will remain in effect.”

According to a statement issued by Civil Aviation, only Bahraini citizens on the red list will be allowed to return.

The local citizen will need to show the negative PCR report 48 hours before arrival in Bahrain at the airport, passengers will also be screened at the airport, after which they will need to be quarantined for at least ten days.
