And when I was at home, I sometimes wondered if I had chosen the best team for my future. And then he always told me: ‘yes, it’s the best team’. This is my dream. And that, if he was able to win the title on this bike and with this team, it would have a special flavor”.

And it has been. The Desmosedici GP22with the uncertainties of the start of the season with the Pramac ‘satellites’ and Gresini surpassing the official Lenovo Team, has proven to be the best bike, or at least the most complete, on the grid. The second half of the Italian’s season has been impeccable, and after the two zeros added in Barcelona and Germany, came four consecutive wins that made believe and increased the ambition in the red box: “You start to think that you are unbeatable and that is something that, perhaps I shouldn’t say, but when I finished second in Aragón, I was angry because I had not achieved the fifth consecutive victory. I don’t know if I put too much pressure on him, but I’m sure something changed.” the new MotoGP champion ends.
