Bad Bunny leads the nominations with a record 27 nods. This makes him the most nominated artist for the 2025 awards. He is also slated to receive the Billboard Latin Artist of the 21st Century Award.
Other legendary figures will also be honored during the night. Laura Pausini will receive the Billboard Icon Award, and Peso Pluma is recognized with the Billboard Vanguard Award. Elvis Crespo will be inducted into the Billboard Hall of Fame.
The night also marks a highly anticipated return for Daddy Yankee. Performing under his new moniker, DY, his appearance was previously in question due to a legal dispute with his ex-wife, Mireddys González, concerning his artistic names.
A potential high-profile encounter between ex-couple Isabella Ladera and Beéle is also drawing attention. This would be their first public meeting since an intimate video leak caused a widespread scandal.
