Bad Bunny emerged as the night’s biggest winner, securing 11 trophies from his 27 nominations. His accolades included Artist of the Year, Global 200 Latin Artist of the Year, and "Hot Latin Songs" Male Artist of the Year. His track "DTMF" won three awards, notably Song of the Year, Streaming.
The artist’s album, Debí tirar más fotos, was recognized as Top Latin Album of the Year. The 31-year-old Puerto Rican superstar also received the Billboard Latin Artist of the 21st Century Award. Legendary actress Rita Moreno presented the honor, marking one of the ceremony’s most moving moments.
Karol G cemented her status as the top female artist, taking home six of her 10 nominations. The 34-year-old Colombian singer dominated the pop and tropical categories. She earned "Hot Latin Songs" Female Artist of the Year.
Her global hit "Si antes te hubiera conocido" swept four awards, including Global 200 Latin Song of the Year, Latin Airplay Song of the Year, Song of the Year, Sales, and Tropical Song of the Year.
Regional Mexican music celebrated a golden era with Fuerza Regida, who won five of their 15 nominations. This included Regional Mexican Artist of the Year, Duo or Group. Their collaboration with Óscar Maydon, "Tu boda," was named Regional Mexican Song of the Year and "Hot Latin Song" Vocal Collaboration of the Year, underscoring the genre’s growing global prominence.
Shakira also received three awards, including Tour of the Year and Latin Pop Artist of the Year. Peso Pluma, Netón Vega, and Óscar Maydon each earned two awards. Single award winners included Aventura, Benny Blanco, Maná, Romeo Santos, Kapo, Laura Pausini, Rubby Pérez, Elvis Crespo, Baby Rasta & Gringo, Tito Double P, and producer Ernesto “Neto” Fernández.
The ceremony, hosted by Elizabeth Gutiérrez, Goyo, and Javier Poza, was vibrant and diverse. Bad Bunny received a standing ovation during his special tribute. Laura Pausini delivered a poignant performance of “Mi historia entre tus dedos” after accepting the Billboard Icon Award.
