Babil Khan, son of the late actor Irfan Khan, has announced he’s taking a break from acting. He shared the news on Instagram. Babil’s mom, Sutapa Sikdar, talked to Amar Ujala about her reaction. “Every mother wants her child to be happy. That’s my only wish too,” she said. Sutapa believes every child deserves a good break. “I want my son to take a beautiful holiday, have some time for himself. We’re going abroad for our vacation… and he totally deserves this break,” she added.
Sutapa also shared her thoughts on Babil’s decision. She said, “As for his decisions… am I happy? I don’t know what the right reaction should be… but I will say that if something didn’t work out for him or things didn’t go as planned, maybe it was for the best. Now he can take some time for himself, take a break… and most importantly, take care of himself. What more relief can a mother ask for?”
Babil shared a post on Instagram explaining his decision. He wrote about working with director Sai Rajesh on a project that didn’t work out due to unexpected circumstances. “It takes a lot of courage, passion, and mutual respect to come together on a creative journey. Unfortunately, due to unforeseen circumstances, things didn’t move forward as we had all envisioned,” he said. Babil wished Sai Rajesh and the film’s team well for their future endeavors.
