Babil Khan hates the word ‘debut’, Irrfan Khan’s son said this before the release of ‘Kaala’

Babil Khan, the eldest son of the late Hindi film superstar Irrfan Khan, will be making his film debut very soon. The trailer for Babil’s upcoming film ‘Kala’ has recently been released. Babil’s first film will be released on the OTT Netflix platform. Meanwhile, Babil Khan has said that he hates words like debut and release.

After the death of father Irrfan Khan, everyone wants to see Babil Khan as an actor in movies. Since the release of the ‘Kaala’ trailer, the excitement of fans for Babil has increased a lot. Therefore, everyone wants to see Babil debuting in movies as soon as possible, but Babil hates the hype that was made about his debut. In fact, in an interview with Film Companion, Babil has said that- If he wasn’t the son of Irrfan Khan, nobody would have cared about my film debut.

I would still be auditioning and getting beaten up somewhere or other. The recognition I get from my work is so much more than the recognition I inherited. It seems to me that words like debut and release make a person so much bigger than the movie and the story. This is the reason why I don’t like these kinds of words at all.

As an actor, Babil Khan will break into the industry with the Netflix movie ‘Kala’. Apart from Babil, many actors like actress Trupti Dimri and Swastika Mukherjee are present in this film. The online transmission of this debut film by Babil will be done on the Netflix OTT platform from December 1 of next month. The Netflix movie ‘Kala’ is known to have been directed by Anvita Dutt.
