Babar had a hard time bringing his brother to online practice, surrounded on social media, PCB rebuked him too

Pakistan captain Babar Azam found it costly to come to the High Performance Center (HPC) in Lahore with his brother. At the HPC, only National Cricketers, First Class Cricketers and Junior Cricketers are allowed to use the facilities for training, practice and fitness, but contrary to Pakistan Cricket Board guidelines ( PCB), Babar Azam brought his brother Safir here. Safir was seen practicing online here, after which Babar was heavily criticized on social media. The PCB has also advised Babar on this matter.

Safir recently posted a video on social media. In this video he is seen practicing net under the supervision of Babar Azam. Safir was batting practice, Pakistani fast bowler Shahnawaz Dahani was seen bowling in front of him. There was a lot of buzz on social media after this video surfaced. Actually, Safir has not been able to play top class cricket nor has he made his mark in any kind of youth cricket. Being just the brother of the captain of Pakistan, people scolded PCB and Babar Azam when he joined HPC. Former Pakistani players like Tanveer Ahmed also rated it poorly.

Following this criticism on social media, the PCB has also given advice to Babar. Speaking on this subject, the PCB official said: ‘Babur had come here with his brother three or four days ago. Later, his brother also did net practices here, which was notified. He is the captain of our national team, so he has calmly explained on this subject that this must not happen again. He has also accepted it with conscience.
