What did Babar Azam say?

Babar Azam said this is my first season in the Lanka Premier League and I’m looking forward to playing all the games. I joined the team a few days ago and am very happy to have met my teammates. We have a young team and everyone strives to do their best. Babar Azam’s team Colombo Strikers is led by Niroshan Dickwella. The Pakistani captain said that my attitude is always positive. I will give the Colombo Strikers my best. We have a good selection of players, a good combination of senior and junior players in the team. Dickwella and I play a lot of cricket together and know each other very well.

Babar Azam went on to say that I think there are four to five players from the team playing for Sri Lanka. This is good for us and a great opportunity for young players to learn new things from experienced older players. There’s a lot to learn from sharing the dressing room with older players. Babar Azam also said that the Lanka Premier League (LPL) 2023 will help them adapt to the different conditions in Asia as several upcoming international tournaments including the Asia Cup will be held in the Asian subcontinent.
