Babar Azam and Shadab Khan face each other in the battle for the ICC prize, with Nicholas Pooran also in the running

Alongside Pakistan captain Babar Azam, Shadab Khan and Nicholas Pooran were nominated for the ICC Player of the Month (August). Recently, Babar Azam had played a brilliant century innings against Nepal. The Pakistan captain had scored 151 runs in 131 balls against Nepal. Apart from this, Babar Azam was the batsman who reached the figure of 19 centuries in the fewest number of games in One Day International. The Pakistan captain left former South African legend Hashim Amla behind in the matter.

Along with Pakistan team captain Babar Azam, his compatriot all-rounder Shadab Khan was also nominated for the ICC Men’s Player of the Month. In fact, Shadab Khan had changed the course of the game with his batting, apart from his bowling in the series against Afghanistan before the Asia Cup. Now this all-rounder has been nominated as the ICC Men’s Player of the Month. However, Shadab Khan will be challenged by his captain for the ICC Men’s Player of the Month award.

Alongside Babar Azam and Shadab Khan, West Indies wicketkeeper-batsman Nicholas Pooran has been nominated for the ICC Men’s Player of the Month award. Recently, Nicholas Pooran scored 176 runs in the T20 series against India. In this series, the wicketkeeper-batsman averaged 141.93. However, now the Caribbean wicketkeeper-batsman has been nominated for the ICC Men’s Player of the Month award. In front of Nicholas Pooran are Pakistan captain Babar Azam and all-rounder Shadab Khan. However, now it will be interesting to see who becomes the ICC Men’s Player of the Month.
