Baaghi 4 Review: Tiger Shroff’s Strong Return, Sanjay Dutt’s Villainy; Film Feels Tedious.

The action-packed film ‘Baaghi 4’, starring Tiger Shroff and Sanjay Dutt, has just hit cinemas. It landed on September 5, 2025, bringing back Tiger Shroff as the fierce Ronnie. From the very first scene, the movie is full of big action and a really dark mood. While the powerful fight scenes and cool visuals definitely grab your eye, the constant violence and a messy story sometimes make the film feel too heavy. Who Really Shined?

Tiger Shroff didn’t just rely on his stunts and muscles this time. He added real depth to Ronnie with his angry face and sorrowful eyes. His acting clearly shows how much hard work he put into this role. Every expression, every action scene, and every emotional moment reveals his effort. This makes Ronnie feel like a real and authentic character, not just another action hero.

Sanjay Dutt’s villain role is perhaps the film’s biggest strength. His voice, his mannerisms, and his cold stare create a genuine sense of fear. Harnaaz Sandhu makes a fresh and impactful debut. Her innocence and confidence truly shine on screen. She handled some stunts well, and her scenes with Ronnie brought a lot of life to the film. Her character plays a very important part in moving the story forward. Meanwhile, Sonam Bajwa adds a touch of glamour and some lighthearted fun with her presence.

Upendra Limaye leaves a serious impression as the police officer. Sudesh Lehri lightens the heavy mood with his perfect comic timing. Shreyas Talpade, with his natural acting, makes even a side role feel important. Saurabh Sachdeva and Sheeba Akashdeep also bring more depth to the movie with their appearances.

Behind the Camera and the Music

Director A. Harsha really tried hard to make the film look stylish and visually powerful. The action scenes are huge, and they are the most violent we’ve seen in this franchise so far. For the music, ‘Guzara’ and ‘Marjaana’ are quite touching. However, ‘Bahli Sohni’ and ‘Yeh Mera Husn Utna’ don’t leave much of an impression. The background score, though, does a good job of making the film’s dark atmosphere even deeper.

What Didn’t Quite Work: The Story Falls Short

Even with the cast doing good work, the film has several weak points. The story often feels predictable, and some plot twists remind you of older Bollywood action or drama movies. Many characters seem to exist just for stunts and style, without much real depth to them. The constant blood, fights, and violence break the film’s flow, making it choppy. Plus, at 157 minutes long, some scenes just feel exhausting. Overall, despite all the style and action, the movie might feel heavy and cumbersome for some viewers.

How Does It Stack Up Against Other ‘Baaghi’ Films?

The first ‘Baaghi’ showed off Tiger’s fresh style. ‘Baaghi 2’ was emotional and a big hit. ‘Baaghi 3’ went all in on large-scale action. ‘Baaghi 4’ stands apart from these because it has way more violence and gore. But that sweet, innocent love story, which was a big part of earlier films, isn’t as deep here. Because of this, longtime fans might find this movie much darker and heavier than what they’re used to.

Should You Watch It or Give It a Pass?

If you’re only looking for non-stop action, bloody fights, and a strong comeback from Tiger Shroff, then ‘Baaghi 4’ is worth buying a ticket for. Sanjay Dutt’s villainous performance and the contributions from the other cast members also make the film entertaining. However, if you’re hoping for a new or unique story, or if you want deep emotions, this film might not totally satisfy you.
