The wait is almost over for India’s tour of England. The Board of Control for Cricket in India (BCCI) has announced the under-19 team for the upcoming series. Ayush Mhatre will lead the squad as captain, with Abhijyan Kandu serving as vice-captain and wicketkeeper.

Vaibhav Sooryavanshi has also made the cut for the under-19 team. He impressed selectors with his performance in the Indian Premier League (IPL), scoring a century and breaking several records. Sooryavanshi is now the youngest player to score a century in the IPL and the second-fastest to reach the milestone, behind Chris Gayle.
