There’s always a buzz around Bollywood superstar Salman Khan, and lately, the talk has been about his upcoming film, ‘Sikandar’. Director A.R. Murugadoss, who is behind the movie, recently shared some stories from the set. He claimed that working with Salman wasn’t always easy. He told everyone that he and his team often had to wait for hours on end for the actor to show up.
Well, get ready for a plot twist! Another actor from ‘Sikandar’ has stepped forward to clear the air. Ayaan Lall, who also happens to be the son of Bigg Boss 19 contestant Kunika Sadanand, has completely dismissed Murugadoss’s claims. He’s setting the record straight, saying that the director’s account doesn’t match his experience at all.
Ayaan Lall’s Take on the Set Saga
Ayaan Lall, who made his debut with ‘Sikandar’, recently chatted with Siddharth Kannan. During their talk, Ayaan shared that he never once saw Salman Khan keep people waiting for several hours. He even gave a specific example. “I was called to the set at 3 PM,” Ayaan recalled. “Salman Sir was there by 5:30 PM.” He pointed out that Salman is one of the biggest stars out there. This means he has many responsibilities beyond just filming.
Ayaan also mentioned how Salman steps up to help in big crises, like the recent floods in Punjab. Because of all this, Ayaan feels that waiting a little bit for Salman isn’t a huge deal. He believes Salman Khan is more than just an actor. He’s a true “icon” in society, and millions of people look up to him.
The Back-and-Forth Between Director and Actor
Director Murugadoss had specifically stated that he sometimes waited for Salman Khan for as long as eight hours. But Ayaan quickly countered this. He explained that Salman often gives everyone a heads-up if his schedule changes. “If someone says they’ll arrive at 12 PM, why would you wait from early morning?” Ayaan questioned.
He personally witnessed Salman calling ahead to let the team know his arrival time. Ayaan stressed that Salman’s work isn’t just about movies. He connects with countless people every single day. So, thinking that Salman acts unprofessionally simply isn’t fair.
A Reunion on Reality TV
It’s a small world, and even smaller in the entertainment industry! Interestingly, Ayaan Lall recently met Salman Khan again. This time, it wasn’t on a film set but on the stage of ‘Bigg Boss 19’. Ayaan was there to support his mother, actress Kunika Sadanand, who is a contestant on the current season.
