AVS SAD welcomed a new talent this Monday, bringing in Colombian winger Oscar Perea. He is just 19 years old. Perea will celebrate his 20th birthday later this month. He joins the club on loan from French side Strasbourg. This move adds youth and speed to the squad.
Perea shared his first thoughts, noting a truly positive start. He felt very well received by his new teammates. The coaching staff and all other club staff gave him a warm welcome too. He quickly found a familiar face. Perea knew Devenish from their time as teammates at Atlético Nacional. He called Devenish an excellent person, someone who can really help him settle in.
This marks Perea’s second venture into European football. He mentioned watching many games from the Liga de Portugal. Perea hopes to quickly get used to the league, the team, and the city. His goal is to help the club meet its objectives. He described his own style of play with confidence. “I am fast and I love to dribble,” Perea explained. “I enjoy playing one-on-one. I also score goals when I get the chance.” He expressed his pure joy at joining the team. “I hope to celebrate many goals and victories with the fans,” he added, looking forward to the future.
