Ahead of the T20 World Cup that starts in October in Australia, cricket lovers can watch another interesting series. The Australia team may tour India before the Indian team leaves for the World Cup. Three T20 matches between the two countries can be played here.
A Fox Sports report said: “Australia will play three T20 matches on the India tour in September and will also host limited overs series against Zimbabwe, New Zealand, the West Indies and England.”
If this happens, this will be India’s fourth T20 series after IPL and before the T20 World Cup 2022. Right after the end of the IPL, India will host a five-match T20 series against South Africa. The matches in this series will be played between June 9 and 19. Immediately after this, the Indian team will play two T20 matches on the tour of Ireland.
Under Rohit’s captaincy, the India team will also play the final Test of the 2021 five-match Test series against England on July 1. The last test in the India-England test series has been postponed due to the Corona epidemic. Following this test match, the Indian team will play a three-match T20 series and an equal number of matches ODI series in England itself.
The T20 World Cup later this year will take place in Australia itself. In such a situation, the T20 series against Australia will be very important for India in terms of preparing for the T20 World Cup.
