Australia lifts travel ban conditionally

Canberra: The Australian government has decided that in order to control the economic devastation caused by the corona virus, all people can now enter the country conditionally.

Australia has reopened the country to foreign tourists receiving full corona vaccination after keeping its borders closed for almost two years.

Australia has formally allowed people with full vaccinations and Australian visa holders from around the world to enter the country from Monday.

Sydney, the country’s largest airport, has seen a spate of flights from the United States, Canada and other countries.

The arriving passengers were greeted by a man dressed as a kangaroo. Some passengers were overjoyed to be reunited with their relatives.

Speaking to reporters, Tourism Minister Dan Tehan expressed confidence that Australia’s tourism industry would recover very quickly.

Most Australian states have already lifted quarantine restrictions on vaccinated travelers.
