Canberra: Opposition party defeats ruling coalition in Australia’s parliamentary elections

According to a foreign news agency, the Liberal Party has lost its grip on power in Australia after nine years. Got 54 seats.

Experts say the Labor Party needs 76 seats to form a government, which would require alliances with other parties, including the Green Party or independents.

On the other hand, according to the news agency, the Australian Prime Minister Scott Morrison has conceded defeat and said that the counting of votes is still going on, however, the Labor Party seems to be winning.
