Australia gave India a target of 173 runs, Ellyse Perry played a whirlwind innings

In the third T20 International match played at the Brabourne Stadium in Mumbai between the women’s teams of India and Australia, Australia scored a huge score of 172 runs while batting first. Thus, Team India needs 173 runs to win the match. Earlier, recovering from a poor start, Australia made this big score thanks to brilliant tackles from Ellyse Perry. Perry played a brilliant innings of 75 runs, achieving the highest score of his career in T20 International.

Batting first, Australia got off to a very poor start and lost big ground in the form of Alyssa Healy on the fourth ball. Talia McGrath had also returned to the pavilion right next door. After losing two wickets for just five runs, the Australia team were looking for a lot of trouble. However, Beth Mooney did the job of handling Australia’s innings, playing a 30-run innings on 22 balls. Australia lost their third wicket to the form of Mooney at 69 in the ninth. Ellyse Perry, who came on to bat at number four, continued to score runs from one end, but Australia had also lost their fourth wicket at 89.

Perry had completed his half century in just 33 balls while batting aggressively. After 2019, this is his first half century in T20 International. Perry, batting brilliantly, scored an innings of 75 runs off 47 balls, which included nine fours and three sixes. Perry had an excellent partnership of 55 runs in 31 balls with Grace Harris for the fifth wicket. Harris also batted very aggressively and scored 41 runs off 18 balls.
