Australia announced the team for the remaining 3 games of the Ashes series, the return of these 2 players.

Melbourne. The hosts have announced their squad for the remaining 3 matches of the Ashes series to be played between Australia and England. Australia captain Pat Cummins and fast pitcher Josh Hazlewood will return to the team for Test 3. Let us tell you that the Australian Cricket Board has not made any changes to the 15-player squad for the remainder of the series.

Cummins was unavailable for the second test due to exposure to a COVID-19 positive person, while Hazlewood suffered a muscle strain in the series opener at Gabba. Jhye Richardson replaced Hazlewood in the second day and night test in Adelaide, while Michael Neser debuted at the last minute.

Starter Marcus Harris, who has been running in poor form, has managed to save his spot for the remaining three games. However, Usman Khawaja can be given a chance instead in the XI of play. The fourth Test of the series will be played in Sydney (January 5) while the fifth Test (Day-Night) will be played in Hobart from January 14.

Team Australia: Pat Cummins (c), Alex Carey, Cameron Green, Marcus Harris, Josh Hazlewood, Travis Head, Usman Khawaja, Marnus Labuschagne, Nathan Lyon, Michael Neser, Jhye Richardson, Steve Smith, Mitchell Starc, Mitchell Swepson, David Warner.
