The date of the first days of Eid-ul-Fitr was determined in an official statement issued by the Australian Fatwa Council, which the International Center for Astronomy published on its page on the social networking website ‘Twitter’.

The statement said that the month of Ramadan will be completed on Friday and Saturday, April 22, 2023, will be the first day of Eid-ul-Fitr and the first day of Shawwal.

Thus, Australia will be the first country in the world to officially set the date of Eid al-Fitr.

It is worth noting that for the last few days, there has been a lot of talk about the possibility of the moon not being visible on Thursday, including the presence of the moon after sunset, its location and other factors. There are reasons. .

After this debate, the Supreme Court of Saudi Arabia has asked all Muslims in all parts of the kingdom to try to see the Shawwal moon tomorrow, Thursday evening, April 20.

The court appealed to those people to try to see the moon with open eyes or through a telescope and report it to the nearest court if the moon is visible.
