Everton is facing a new financial crisis that could force the Liverpool club to make drastic decisions next summer. Goodison Park faces a further points deduction as the club had already lost ten points in a previous financial results investigation and would therefore be forced to sell two of its best players: Amadou Onana and Jarrad Branthwaite.
Everton have been forced to sell key players such as Richarlison, Aaron Gordon, Gray, Iwobi and Moise Kean in recent years to comply with the rules and balance their books.
Onana and Branthwaite are about to leave the club.
However, the situation remains critical and there is speculation that Everton may be forced to sell more players in the next transfer market. Two assets stand out among the others:
-Amadou Onana: the Belgian pivot Amadou Onana, wanted by Arsenal and on the agenda of Barcelona, who see him as an interesting option to strengthen their midfield zone.
-Jarrad Branthwaite: Promising English centre-back Jarrad Branthwaite, whose name has been linked with the likes of Manchester United and Real Madrid, is looking to become a centre-back for the future.
Branthwaite, an England Under-21 international, has impressed in Everton's defense and is an integral part of the team. However, the need to adhere to financial restrictions could force Everton to sacrifice one of their young talents.
