Patricia was in Lisbon when the November 13 attacks took place.
That evening, when she heard the news on television, she tried to reach Precilia, her only daughter, on the phone, without success. The next day, still unanswered and increasingly worried, she posted a message on Facebook, before learning that her daughter was among the victims.
While the trial of the attacks must begin on Friday, September 8, Patricia, who confided that she would never accept the assassination of her daughter “too in love with life”, sees this event as a step in her fight. “It is necessary that this be engraved in the history, for all those which were reached”.
The latter still hopes that Salah Abdeslam, the only terrorist of the commando still alive, is present at the hearing. “I hope to face him with my eyes (…) I am going to speak in memory of my daughter and her companion and if he can listen to it that would be good”.
