Atlético de Madrid says its players comply with Covid regulations

The Team Manager of Atlético de Madrid, Tomás Reñones, assured this Thursday that the entire team complies "strictly with the regulations" for their different competitions, after the Brazilian coach Tite affirmed that he did not summon Renan Lodi because he was not vaccinated against covid-19.

"I do not know the information that the Brazilian coach has, to come to this competition and in all the ones that we participate we strictly comply with the regulations and with the obligations that are required of us"Reñones told Movistar+ television.

Atlético’s Team Manager expressed himself in this way shortly before the semifinal of the Spanish Super Cup against Atlético de Madrid at the King Fahd stadium in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia, which requires vaccination to enter the country.

I gave it "he is here, he is fulfilling perfectly like everyone else, not only the players but the entire expedition we fulfill all the obligations that have been demanded of us", added Kidneys without clearly specifying that the player is vaccinated.

"In all the competitions we go to, all the staff complies with the regulations"Reñones insisted after being asked about the Brazilian coach’s decision.

Tite said Thursday that he did not retain Lodi because he is not fully vaccinated against covid-19.

"Vaccination is a social responsibility"said the coach, who assured that the player would also have problems entering Ecuador and restrictions in Brazil.
