Serhou Guirassy has had a fantastic start to the season. The Stuttgart striker broke all records with 16 goals in 10 games which he has worn this season by gaining “girlfriends” at several big clubs in Europe who want to get him out of the Bundesliga.
His second year in Stuttgart is the best in terms of numbers. The Guinean has positioned himself as one of the ‘killers’ of European football and according to Bild newspaper, Atlético de Madrid have joined the bid to bring him to LaLiga EA Sports.
Diego Pablo Simeone would welcome the arrival of another striker, especially if Memphis Depay does not return to the team after his injury with the same level of attack as his teammates. Griezmann and Morata are Atlético’s stars, but they have no rotation in their position. Due to the Dutchman’s injuries, Ángel Correa was the only one who also played as a striker.
The 27-year-old Guirassy has a €20 million release clause, suggesting his signing is affordable. Newcastle and Tottenham were the two clubs that showed the most interestbut now the aforementioned German media have included Atlético in this offer.
Saudi Arabia has also been linked with Guirassy’s future, but the striker himself, who previously played for Cologne and Rennes, Entry into the Arab market in January is ruled out.
