Atleti definitively rule out the signing of Cristiano Ronaldo

Cristiano Ronaldo It’s been in the news these last few days. In the middle of his last match, which faced Man Utd and to Tottenham, the Portuguese left the stadium when the clash was barely entering added time; something that angered the Red Devils manager, Erik ten Hag, who has already clarified that he will probably leave Manchester in January. Of course, Atlético de Madrid will not be the next destination for the bug.

Cholo Simeone has made it clear, in the press conference prior to Atleti’s match against Betis, that Cristiano is not the goal of the mattresses in the next markets. The reason that leads him to think that is his idyll with Real Madrid: “He is an absolute benchmark for Real Madrid”, exemplifying that he would never see Riquelme playing in River. Despite the rumours, Atlético de Madrid will not try to sign Cristiano Ronaldo.

Why does Cristiano want to leave United?

Cristiano Ronaldo’s ideas are already far from Manchester. For weeks he has not been important for the Red Devils club and the coach has made him see it through substitutions, and even games in which he did not play a single minute; like the last against Tottenham Hotspur. He has declared himself in absentia and will not be there for the next clash between ten Hag’s men and Chelsea. Wherever it is, CR7 will set course for another new destination in the next market, fed up with his situation in Manchester.
