Allu Arjun’s upcoming film with director Atlee is creating a buzz, and the latest update is that the lead actress has been finalized. Mrinal Thakur is set to romance Allu Arjun in the film. According to reports, Mrinal has already given her look test in Mumbai. Her character is expected to have a fresh look, different from her previous South films.

While Mrinal is confirmed as the lead, rumors suggest that other actresses might also be part of the film. Janhvi Kapoor and Deepika Padukone are reportedly being considered for other key female roles. Earlier reports indicated that the makers were exploring Priyanka Chopra, Shraddha Kapoor, Samantha Ruth Prabhu, and Disha Patani for the project.
Release and Production
Although there’s no official announcement from Allu Arjun or Atlee, the film is expected to hit theaters in early 2027. The announcement video hinted that Atlee and Allu Arjun visited the US for pre-production, meeting VFX experts with experience in Hollywood films.
