According to a recent report from The Verge, Atari, the iconic name behind classic video games, is making a splash in the smartwatch world with the launch of the Atari 2600 My Play Watch. This nostalgic tribute to the legendary 1970s console is designed to appeal to both tech enthusiasts and fans of retro gaming. By combining modern functionality with vintage elements, the device offers a unique blend of old and new.

In terms of design and features, the Atari 2600 My Play Watch boasts a 2.02-inch color TFT touchscreen, protected by a sturdy metal frame. Inspired by the original Atari 2600, the watch’s physical buttons and rotatable crown provide a classic gaming feel. With an IP68 rating, it’s also resistant to water and dust, allowing for immersion up to 1 meter deep.

Classic Games Integrated

The watch focuses on nostalgia, enabling users to play four iconic titles directly on their wrist. These include:
